Fine Artist
I grew up in a household that embraced the arts. I am a self taught artist. Art had always been in the background but never my focus until later in life. I began to really paint seriously when my daughter became ill and I used art as a tool to deal with the stress.
I began attending art lectures which included wildlife artists Robert Bateman and Terry Isaacs. I also attended artist workshops which included Lian Zhen, Mary White and Brigit O’Connor and I my spent weekends plein air painting in Northern California. The real bridge I crossed into fine art was during a painting trip to Spain with Charles Grupe.
I am currently painting in my studio, as well as plein air in and around Dubois, Wyoming.
